Cantilever racking systems are used to store materials that are not easily stored in a pallet storage system because of the product length. Items such as pipe, tubing, oil tools, and lumber are typical products that are stored in cantilever rack Rather than being stacked on a pallet and then stored in a racking system, these products are stored directly on the cantilever racking system.
Vertical upright is available in various height and capacity. The uprights used depend on the weight of the material to be stored, the lift equipment used to handle the material, and the customer preference of how high they feel comfortable storing and handling the material.
The base used to support the upright is either single-side or double-sided. Double side cantilever rack is more cost efficient since you are essentially doubling your storage capacity using just one upright.
Arm is connected to the upright at various height and is utilized to hold the material. Product is stored across two or more arms. Arms are available in various length and capacity. The horizontal arms are either inclined (for lighter loads of tubular products) or straight (heavier loads and flat material such as lumber). When tubular material is being stored, an end stop is used to prevent material from rolling off the end of the arms.
Scope of application：
Suitable for storing long materials, ring materials, plates, pipes and irregular goods.
Cantilevered racks are mostly used in machinery manufacturing and building materials supermarkets.
With the addition of shelves, it is particularly suitable for small, low-rise warehouses, convenient management, wide field of vision, and higher utilization than ordinary shelves.
The cantilever can be single-sided or double-sided. The cantilevered rack has the characteristics of stable structure, good load carrying capacity and high space utilization.
The cantilever rack is made of an overhanging cantilever mounted on a conventional rack pillar and is a special rack for long goods.
